You'll be based in St. Louis, MO.As a Business Development Representative in the Retirement & Investment Services segment, you are responsible for identifying prospective customers in the local market as well as in assigned regional industry markets. You will initiate contact with prospective clients, prepare and deliver presentations, follow-up with prospects, coordinate administrative and investment conversion team, and close sale of the prospective account. In addition to calling on new prospects, you will also call on existing customers to identify additional business opportunities and customer needs.The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:Bachelor's degree with emphasis in Business Administration, Finance, Economics. Advanced degree (MBA / JD) preferred. At least ten years of combined training and related job experience. Background in finance, business, financial planning, investments, legal principals, employee benefits, tax and corporate structure. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to comprehend basic financial statements, good knowledge of investments, understanding of fiduciary principals. Knowledge of ERISA, and ability to comprehend regulatory documents.
