Generally, you'll be working in a team-oriented environment, in some cases inside buildings that make PNC one of the country's leading operators of 'green' facilities.In a typical day, you wil:Provide support to senior level attorneys by performing a wide range of high level legal secretarial, administrative and general office related duties; strong emphasis on producing a high quality work product with limited supervision often under strict deadlines. Provide administrative support by organizing and expediting the flow of work through the attorney's office; communicating assignments and instructions from the attorney with various individuals and/or external sources; and initiating follow-up as required. Contribute to the efficiency of the Department by providing assistance to attorneys and co-workers outside of assigned practice group. Help design and implement, then manages and updates data in Mortgage Legal Department data bases, calendars, work inflow systems, report generation systems and other tracking tools. Answer incoming phone calls, manages calendars, makes travel arrangements, prepares expense accounts; processes invoices. Provide legal secretarial support by preparing and/or assisting in the production of legal documents; interpreting and applying knowledge of legal terminology to documents specific to the assigned practice group. Provide general office support by screening and routing telephone calls; managing calendars and travel arrangements, preparing expense accounts and processing invoices; processing mail; receiving visitors; responding to requests for information by researching the issues; gathering data and providing information when appropriate.The successful candidate has the following qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. 8 to 10 years of Legal Secretary experience or high-level Administrative/Executive Secretary experience. Computer training, working knowledge and experience in Microsoft Office Suite, Lotus Notes and databases.PNC is committed to offering you a comprehensive and competitive benefits package.
