PNC has an excellent opportunity for an Operational Risk Manager - Mortgage Banking within its Operating Risk Management organization for an individual with experience within the mortgage services industry and risk management. The individual in this position provides risk management support to PNC's mortgage business as well as supports risk management at the enterprise level. In this role, the risk manager will be responsible for partnering with the mortgage business to ensure that a risk governance framework is engrained in the business and effectively works to identify, assess and manage risks within the constructs of a moderate risk profile. , This framework applies across the entire organization including strategic business initiatives and critical high risk areas. This risk governance framework will align with PNC's enterprise risk management framework.
The individual selected will partner with the business to ensure implementation of PNC's operating policy and operating risk program requirements in support of business strategies and the enterprise moderate risk profile. Capture and analyze internal and external operating risk data for the purpose of assisting the business in identifying and remediating control weaknesses. Develop both line of business and enterprise operating risk profiles and reporting to management. Regularly gauge the impact of policy requirements on the businesses and ensure the appropriate balance of risk management requirements with business strategies and bandwidth to integrate the program requirements across their functions. Assist in the development and maintenance of the enterprise operating risk policy and program components and establish the operating risk framework and methodologies.
Partner with other enterprise wide operating risks areas (Compliance, Fiduciary/Investments, etc.) to ensure alignment of methodologies and approaches for assessing, monitoring and reporting operating risk.
