Our Asset Management Division provides a full scope of advisory services and transaction management/support for our clients that include: performing asset management; special servicing; risk management of complex transactions; due diligence and asset valuations. As a Senior Asset Manager I you will be responsible for resolving and/or disposing of non-performing commercial real estate assets with the goal of minimizing losses and maximizing value for our clients and their investors. The loans are typically higher profile loans of high complexity. Resolution or disposition typically involves resolving defaults, negotiating workout terms, managing the foreclosure process, coordinating with legal counsel for bankruptcy and other litigation, and managing REO through the sale of the asset. This will include crafting a workout strategy on distressed assets based on understanding the real estate market, property deficiencies, borrower deficiencies, local laws regarding lender's rights and remedies and ascertaining the value of the real estate asset. You will also be responsible for communicating the strategy and resolution progress to our clients, investors, and rating agencies as appropriate. In addition, you will have the direct supervision of a team of junior asset managers as they effectively manage and dispose of assigned portfolios of non-performing or distressed assets.
