As a Sourcing Assoicate (Supply Chain Management), you are a member of PNC's Corporate Purchasing Department. PNC's Supply Chain Management operations are among the most significant within leading financial institutions. This position can be based in either Pittsburgh or Cleveland. Your Supply Chain experience will be greatly utilized as you support the Lead Sourcing Specialist with the management of strategic sourcing processes in the areas of contract administration, mergers and acquisitions, and sourcing department reporting and audits. You will have the opportunity to work cross-functionally with the Legal Department, Line of Business representatives, Senior Operations Managers, MIS and the Supplier equivalents to facilitate the execution and ongoing management of contracts. This position will act as the single point of contact for all documentation control within Sourcing, as well as maintain a contract repository and expiring contract notification process.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Identification of sourcing projects.
- Conducting scorecard and audit support on behalf of the Sourcing organization.
- Establishing consistent practices and reporting within the selected e-Sourcing tool.
- Developing checks and balances to ensure adherence to best practices.
- Facilitating contract control and execution procedures.
