We are also growing in reputation, as a leader in areas such as work/life family culture, 'green' building design, frontier technology, and strong corporate social responsibility.As a PNC Assistant Branch Manager, you will be part of successful and growing retail banking organization, one with almost 3 million retail customers and 1,000 branch offices throughout the Northeast and Middle Atlantic; additional offices are located nationwide and internationally. Our Assistant Branch Managers lead and manage the daily client experience and activities on the floor, collaborating with dedicated colleagues in directing sales and service activity. This position is based in our Affton location,. Your position will directly assist and report to the Branch Manager.In a typical banking day, you will enjoy a high level of customer contact, of course, and you'll be able to draw upon your own customer service experience to handle the mix of routine and unexpected requests. You comfort with a goal-oriented environment will help you. So will your 'soft' skills: You'll work with a first rate branch staff, which will look to you for guidance on PNC operational procedures, and for problem-solving support. At least 1 year retail banking experience and knowledge of branch operations preferred. At least 1 year of customer services experience Problem solving skills are essential. Some Supervisory experience is preferred. Excellent verbal & written communication skills. Computer skills to include work in Windows based applications.
