inventory shortage results and identifies solutions to reduce inventory loss. Assist in the preparation of support
material for capital expenditures.
Qualifications
Prepares reporting of inventory shortage results and identifies solutions to reduce inventory loss, and assists in the
implementation of the approved solution.
Assists in completing return on investment analysis for capital equipment purchases and upgrades.
Prepares ad hoc reports, graphs and charts of researched data for presentation to management.
Provides support to various business units and field teams in regards to shrink reduction programs.
Assists in the preparation, development, and maintenance of the store inventory process.
Assists in the development of inventory schedule and in the inventory budget plan for inventory vendors
Other duties as assigned
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED TO PERFORM ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or equivalent, Master’s degree preferred
Minimum of three years financial analysis, accounting experience or equivalent.
Experience in Retail Inventory accounting and inventory shortage control preferred.
Strong knowledge of Sears legacy systems: SPRS and Document Direct (View Direct/Mobius)
Strong knowledge in the use of personal computer and mainframe software (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and
Access, experience with mainframe applications, SQL, and Outlook a plus)
Exceptional communication skills are essential as well as the ability to interact the associates across all levels of
Internal and external personnel.
Ability to interpret data, analyze results, make recommendations, and implement solutions.
