Job Description

POSITION OVERVIEW:Responsible for developing and documenting procedures for all distribution activities including operations, systems, maintenance, training, inventory control and quality. Makes revisions to procedures and other controlled documents following the document revision and control process. The associate in this position will consolidate audit data from the quality and inventory control departments at each distribution center and will create comprehensive reports showing trends in accuracy over time.RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Performs word processing duties to create procedures based on input from engineering, operations, maintenance, training and quality. Consolidates audit data from the quality department at each DC into a report detailing the performance of each DC over time.
  • Tracks the status of procedures, forms and reports throughout the development, review and approval process.
  • Works closely with engineering, operations, training and quality to continuously maintain, monitor, revise and update information in procedures, forms and reports. Keeps and distributes meeting minutes, action items and schedules.
  • Develops procedures and reports for support and analysis of functions including engineering, training, maintenance and quality.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

  • 2 year degree or related work experience
  • Expert knowledge and experience in Microsoft Word & Excel (Access & PowerPoint a plus)
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Good written and oral communication skills
