AT&T Interactive - Customer Retention Specialist- Charlotte, NC

You can help create and support exciting new products and services for our growing portfolio of brands including YELLOWPAGES.COM, the most preferred Internet Yellow Pages in the U.S., AnyWho and Keen. We also develop the technology behind Ingenio Pay Per Call. AT&T Interactive is a wholly owned subsidiary of AT&T.
Our Charlotte, NC office is currently hiring for Customer Retention Specialists!
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Work with the general sales manager to identify, develop and execute:
  • Identify customers which are high risk of leaving YellowPages.com (dissatisfied, sales representative has left, product performance not working, inaccuracy of customer information).
  • Proactively work Cancellations from previous Quarter (Winbacks)
  • Work with the advertisers and all necessary YellowPages.com personnel to correct any problems.
  • Identify solutions which best serve the advertiser.
  • Maintain and improve communication with the advertiser.
  • Understand Credit Card Decline Process
  • Proactively monitor 'set to cancel' accounts and work with all parties and assist in retaining customers.
  • Owns the Customer Base - knows the Office Customer Base and how it ranks among other offices & markets.
Works with the District Sales Managers & General Sales Managers with regards to Declines, Cancels and Winback accounts. Training:You will receive paid training in one of our world class training facilities. This is instructor-led classroom training. Consists of formal instruction and on-the-job training. Supervision:This job has no supervisory responsibilities. We offer competitive salaries, excellent benefits including a 401(k), bonuses, and a casual yet high-energy work environment. Qualifications Intermediate to proficient knowledge of MS Word, Excel and internet navigation are required. Incumbents must be computer literate and have the ability to learn new internal software programs as needed by the business. Education:Bachelor's degree preferred, with 3-5 years+ of professional business-to-business outside sales experience. All applicants must have a valid driver's license and proof of car insurance. We're searching for applicants with:

  • Prior experience in Yellowpages.com Sales
  • Excellent communication skills (especially listening and responding thoughtfully and proactively)
  • Accuracy, on-time delivery on commitments, follow-up.
  • Assessing the customer's needs and finding solutions which best serve them.
  • Ability to use all YellowPages.com systems and as necessary to make recommendations on how to improve existing systems or recommend better practices which can be propagated to other departments and properties.
