Lead the Delivery and Installation operations organization, providing operational reporting, inventory management and the analysis of economic impacts to the combined delivery/installation operations. Actively participates in and supports key business initiatives to include Sears Sigma projects, ISO Certification, process design and management.
Qualifications
Execute to annual Business Goals as established by Divisional Vice President, Field Services Logistics
Execute strategic policy and objectives for the effective use of combined delivery and installation assets through the employment of “best in class” solutions, operational practices and analyses
Provide network impact analysis – cost, throughput capacity, operational performance – in response to Corporate driven initiatives, marketing programs and business practice changes
Develop and implement ongoing analysis scorecards for delivery and installation operations including trend analysis and the identification of outstanding performance to review for process improvements as well as sub standard performance to target for improvement programs.
Initiate QMS corrective and process improvement actions as merited or needed
Establish operating and performance standards for delivery and installation operations
Identify productivity, profitability and customer relationship improvement initiatives related to delivery and installation operations
Assist in the development of operating plans for the units ensuring the plan supports cost and service goals for the business
Serve as a liaison between Delivery and Installation Operations and the Customer Care Networks
Specific Essential Functions:
Ability to read, write and speak English
Ability to teach/coach/train associates in business matters
Ability to lead others to deliver business results
Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast paced environment and work with minimal supervision
Experience/Education/Certification Requirements:
Bachelors Degree, Masters strongly preferred
7-10 years of business, transportation, routing, logistics, logistics systems, operational analysis, installation operations and supply chain experience
Required Job Competencies:
Ability to think strategically, develop and implement plans that support organizational goals
Advanced understanding and knowledge of industry and logistics practices, including routing, routing systems, truck management/deployment and dedicated fleet operations
Strong comprehension of statistical analysis as it relates to service provision and related costing in the logistics arena.
Experience with logistics and supply chain systems based solutions and their application within the distribution planning function.
Understanding of market driven online business allocation concepts
Skill to provide innovative solutions and apply problem solving methods to drive operational efficiencies and time savings, both on-the-road and in-the-home
Aptitude to recommend resources to meet service level requirements and anticipate service improvement opportunities
Capability to lead process changes that will support improvement of service levels and profitability
Excellent operational and financial analytical skills
Strong influencing skills
Demonstrated ability to ensure achievement of cost/service goals
Provide leadership and support to associates
Excellent verbal/written communication skills, with ability to converse at all organizational levels
Computer skills with Microsoft suite products (Excel, Word, Power Point)
