Value Pawn & Jewelry (Value) is part of one of the nation’s largest publicly-owned pawn chains. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN INVENTORY ASSOCIATE
Inventory Associates at Value spend a portion of every day completing tasks that are divided into three general categories: Locating Merchandise, Merchandising & General Store Maintenance.
Inventory Associates spend much of their day locating merchandise that includes tools, home and auto electronics, video equipment, musical instruments and other general merchandise items.
A portion of every day is spent merchandising our store showroom. New items become available for sale each day in many different categories that include electronics, tools, video equipment, musical instruments and other general merchandise. These items must be cleaned and merchandised in the showroom.
The remainder of the day is spent with normal everyday tasks that are necessary to keep our stores looking and operating better than the competition. Dusting, sweeping and cleaning inside and out are very important activities that make up a typical day for our Inventory associate.
