The Business Analyst Supervisor analyzes data and assists with the development of new reports, business plans, and Sales Incentive Plan (SIP) compensation for all international entities.  He/She provides data to senior and mid-level Sales Operations management to assist with evaluating business plan results.  This position may supervise others. 

The Business Analyst Supervisor clarifies data requests to ensure the end product meets the requestor’s needs.  He/She conducts thorough search of data sources (e.g., Salesforce, Anaplan, Data Warehouse [DWH], Business Information and Analysis [BIA], etc.) to ensure pertinent data is captured.  This position manipulates retrieved data to ensure reports are presented in a user-friendly format.  The Business Analyst Supervisor identifies effective methods of collecting information, generating reports, and presenting data to senior management to assist the sales force.

Other Duties

  • Organizes data in various formats (e.g., graphs, charts, etc.) to meet requestors' needs.
  • Retrieves additional data as required from Anaplan, Salesforce, DWH, and other BIA applications to meet data needs.
  • Evaluates and analyzes data to determine additional methods and approaches for capturing the data requested by senior management.
  • Compares, contrasts, and analyzes data to ensure critical performance elements are identified.
  • Provides daily client support of category management, market research, and other related activities to ensure management of data requests, data quality control, and augmentation of analytical work occurs.

 Preferred Competencies

  • Identifies key information sources, assesses information quality, and understands and communicates limitations; relates and compares information from different sources; manages large amounts of data and appropriately applies data reduction and exploratory analysis techniques; makes logical assumptions; challenges own findings and documents process and outcomes; audits own analyses and determines their validity.
  • Demonstrates some advanced knowledge of how to conduct customer analysis using common sources of information to identify customer facts and trends; collects standard research data about current and prospective customers with some guidance; identifies and develops lists of prospective customers; assists with identifying instances where customer needs or expectations are not being met; drafts promotions of products, services, and features based upon research with oversight from others.
  • Distinguishes between “big picture” concepts and comments and specialized, smaller specific facts associated with work; notes the specifics of events and experiences; explains, in general, how details impact end goals or outcomes; ensures that work is completed accurately and with the appropriate level of detail.
  • Identifies key factors behind basic problems and establish a path to solve them; proposes approaches to solve more complicated problems; investigates and diagnoses anomalies in routine business results.
  • Generates reports in appropriate format using basic software; reviews reports to ensure accuracy and completeness; identifies issues with report generation (e.g., missing variables, incorrect data, etc.)
  • Demonstrates a working knowledge of techniques for soliciting and gathering information; identifies appropriate sources of information.
  • Demonstrates a general understanding of ways to identify and measure the current needs of the customer or business; uses the business need to help define the project’s requirements.


  • Bachelor's Degree (or internationally comparable degree) – Marketing, Mathematics, Industrial Engineering, or Computer Science – Preferred
  • If required and where permitted by applicable law, employees must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 by their date of hire/placement to be considered for employment. Fully vaccinated means two weeks after receiving the second shot for Pfizer and Moderna, or two weeks after Johnson & Johnson
